Introduction

This Policy describes how we collect, use, process, store, disclose, transfer and protect your information when you use the ZyoroRyde mobile applications (“ZyoroRyde App”), our website (https://zyororyde.com) and related offline interactions. “You” includes Customers, Pilots and Vendor Partners. “Services” means services offered by ZyoroRyde per the applicable terms on the Platform.

1) User Acceptance

By accessing or using the ZyoroRyde Platform or Services you agree to this Policy and any updates we post. Processing is performed per applicable laws (incl. the IT Act, 2000 and rules). If you disagree, please do not use the Platform.

  • You will provide authentic, current and permitted information.
  • Providing others’ data implies you have authority to do so.

2) Definitions

  • Pilots: independent riders who offer services on the Platform.
  • Vendor Partner: third-party provider offering transport/delivery/rental services.
  • TPSP: third-party service provider (hosting, KYC, payments, analytics, etc.).
  • Usage Information: technical/usage data collected automatically (see 3.II).

3) What Information We Collect

A. You provide

  • Account: name, phone, email, address, profile photo, credentials.
  • Saved details: addresses, billing, emergency contacts for faster checkout.
  • Verification (Pilots/Vendors): DL, RC, insurance, ID, bank details, KYC selfies.
  • Background checks (where lawful) and anti-fraud signals.
  • Support/UGC: chat, calls, ratings, reviews, referrals.

B. Collected automatically

  • Transactions: trips, pickup/drop, distance, fare, payment status.
  • Location: precise/approximate (Customers while in use; Pilots while On-Duty in fg/bg).
  • Device & logs: model, OS, app version, IP, crash/diagnostics, performance.
  • SMS (with permission): OTP/device/payment verification; not shared beyond this Policy.
  • Calls (Pilots/Vendors): support quality and safety.
  • Cookies/SDKs: auth, preferences, analytics, crash; disabling may break some features.

C. From others

Payment providers, analytics, maps/geo, communications vendors, and public sources where lawful.

We do not sell personal data. Limited sharing occurs only as described in Section 5.

4) How We Use Data

  • Provide and manage accounts, bookings, ETAs, receipts.
  • Safety, KYC, fraud/abuse detection, incident response.
  • Improve reliability, performance and features (de-identified where possible).
  • Fare estimates, charging, refunds and incentives.
  • Trip updates, service notices, policy changes; promotions where permitted (opt-out anytime).
  • Legal compliance (tax/accounting/regulatory requests).
  • Personalisation and relevant offers (no targeted ad networks).

5) Disclosures

  • With consent: if you opt to share data with third parties, their policies apply.
  • TPSPs: hosting, payments, KYC, analytics, communications—contractually bound.
  • Co-branded: joint services with partners (shared per both policies).
  • Promotions: as per rules/requirements (e.g., winner info).
  • Legal/Safety: comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights/safety, prevent fraud.
  • Affiliates/Transfers: group companies; merger/restructure/sale with required notices.
  • Research/Benefits: market research, analytics, service improvements (de-identified where possible).

6) Third-Party Content & Links

Widgets, maps, payments or social features may collect data under their policies. Review before sharing.

7) Information Collected by Pilots & Vendor Partners

This Policy does not cover information independently collected by Pilots/Vendors while providing services.

8) Change of Information & Account

  • Update/correct data in-app or contact us; adjust communications in settings.
  • We may retain limited data after account closure (e.g., up to 180 days) for disputes, fraud prevention and legal compliance, then delete/anonymise.

9) Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, logging). No method is 100% secure; do not share passwords.

10) Children

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. Platform use requires legal capacity to contract.
